Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of considering:

• The Authority proposed Operating and Capital Funds Budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001
• Proposed Fare Increases and Restructuring

The Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2000 at the following locations and times:

Marta Head Quarters 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. 2424 Piedmont Rd. Atlanta, GA

Holiday Inn-Decatur 7:00 p.m. 130 Clairmont Ave. Decatur, GA

Atlanta City Hall 7:00 p.m. 55 Trinity Ave. Atlanta, GA

There will be an information session conducted for one-(1) hour prior to each Public Hearing. MARTA staff will be available to address any questions and concerns. Copies of the proposed Budget will be available for public inspection at MARTA's Office of Government Relations, 2424 Piedmont Road, N.E. Atlanta, Georgia 30324 during business hours and at the Public Hearings.

In addition, MARTA will provide the Public Hearing Information in accessible formats for persons with disabilities, upon request, prior to the public hearing by calling MARTA at (404) 848-5666, or the Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD) telephone at (404) 848-5665 or by writing MARTA, Manager of Community Relations, 2424 Piedmont Road, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30324.

All citizens of the City of Atlanta and the Counties of Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton and Gwinnett, whose interest are affected by the subjects to be considered at this hearing, are hereby notified and invited to appear at said time and place and present such evidence, comment or objection as their interests require. Writing comments, timely received, will also be considered by the Board of Directors.
