State of Black Atlanta Summit 2010*

Atlanta, GA – The State of Black Atlanta Summit 2010 will be held at Clark Atlanta University on Saturday February 20, 2010 (8:00am – 3:00pm) as part of the Black History Month celebration.  The keynote speaker for the Summit is Robert D. Bullard, noted author and scholar who directs the Environmental Justice Resource Center.  Top leaders from academic, public health, environmental, civil rights, business, media, and local community based organizations will also be on hand to present a shared vision for leading Black Atlanta into a just, healthy, and sustainable future. The Summit provides a forum at which diverse aspects of the community come together to learn about and share priorities for the year.  The event is free and open to the public.  Because space is limited, please reserve your seat by contacting: Melissa Chandler at mchandler@cau.edu
