The Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University (EJRC) is a multi-disciplinary center that serves as a bridge among the social and behavioral sciences, health professionals, natural and physical sciences, engineering, management, and legal disciplines to address health problems related to the built and the natural environment.  The following highlights summarize the some of the major accomplishments of the EJRC in 2008.

 

Awards (2008)
Co-op America presented its Building Economic Alternatives (BEA) award to Robert D. Bullard for his work at the EJRC.  This is the 19th year this award has been given to those who exemplify the socially responsible activities closest to the heart of Co-op America's goals of advancing social justice and environmental sustainability (September 3, 2008), http://www.coopamerica.org/about/newsroom/releases/2008.09.03.cfm.
